El Real Madrid deberá presentar mañana su lista de la UEFA Youth League
Entre hoy y mañana conoceremos la relación de cuarenta jugadores inscritos que participarán con el Juvenil A de Álvaro Arbeloa en la UEFA Youth League. Ya que, como fecha final para el plazo, el Real Madrid debe presentar su lista el próximo 30 de agosto de 2022. Si bien esta relación de jugadores no es definitiva, ya que se puede ir modificando con el paso de las semanas.
Al contrario que en años pasados, habrá menos expectación por conocer los detalles del listado, especialmente en cuanto a jugadores nacidos en 2003 que pueden participar: ya que las posibilidades son muy escasas. Más interesante será conocer que decide hacer la propia entidad con Vinicius Tobías, Mario Martín o Álvaro Leiva, integrantes de pleno derecho del Castilla según la página web oficial merengue, pero con edad suficiente como para resultar inscritos.
Para ser elegible, de manera general, hay que haber nacido del 1 de enero de 2004 en adelante y estar registrado con el club (Real Madrid) de tal manera que se pueda participar en competiciones locales. Lo que genera cierto debate reglamentario sobre si este precepto permite la inscripción de los mirlos del Castilla o si se exige una inscripción directa en el Juvenil A. Ya que es verdad que la norma genera cierta ambiguedad al hacer mención a la inscripción nacional para el club. Ya que club, en dicho contexto, se puede entender tanto como Real Madrid o como Juvenil A.
Este sitio web entiende que se hace referencia a la entidad y pueden ser registrados los jugadores sub-19 que pertenecen al filial (Mario Martín, Vinicius Tobías y Álvaro Leiva).
Article 35 Player eligibility
35.01
Players are eligible to play in the competition if they fulfil all the player registration conditions throughout the competition, as set out in the present regulations. Only players who are duly registered with UEFA by means of the player list can validly serve pending suspensions.35.02
Each player must be duly registered with their national association as playing for the club concerned in accordance with the association’s own rules and those of FIFA, notably the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.35.03
Each player taking part in the competition must be in possession of a player’s registration licence issued by his association or a valid passport or identity card, each containing his photograph and giving full particulars of his date of birth (day, month, year). The referee or the UEFA match delegate may ask to see the passports/identity cards of the players listed on the match sheet.35.04
Players are eligible to play in the competition if they were born on or after 1 January 2004.35.05
All players must undergo a medical examination to the extent provided for by the UEFA Medical Regulations.35.06
The club bears the legal consequences for fielding a player who is not named on the player list, or who is otherwise not eligible to play.35.07
In the course of a season, a player is eligible to be fielded only for one single club in this competition.35.08
Any player who is fielded in three or more UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and/or UEFA Europa Conference League matches (as of the group stages of those competitions) in the course of the 2022/23 season ceases to be eligible to play in the UEFA Youth League.35.09
The UEFA administration decides on questions of player eligibility. Challenged decisions are dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body.
